What gets me about this scene is that Sherlock wants John to know that even though he doesn’t particularly care about the solar system or about how beautiful the stars are, he just is able and willing to appreciate the beauty of it. HE WANTS JOHN TO KNOW THIS! Or else he wouldn’t say it out loud. Sherlock Holmes doesn’t do things without a purpose.
I will go down with this ship but even as a bromance this is a fucking amazing scene.
